Johor Bahru Zoo- The entrance fee is only 3 ringgit. Hence, the limited number of animals. But nevertheless, a great getaway amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. The animals are within close range, enclosed in small cages. Zoos have existed throughout the century... isn't the idea of it rather inhumane?! How would we like being caged up for public exhibition? One could argue that it educates the public and creates awareness. But perhaps with the expansion of our media, the internet and TV might be sufficient.
